With over 40 years experience in construction and property we are experts at snagging new-build properties and use specialist equipment to identify snagging issues and present them in an efficient photographic snag list for your developer to action quickly.
Ideally the snagging survey will be carried out before you move in so that the developer or builder will have time to address all the problems before you complete. However it can take place at any time in the first two years of your NHBC, Premier or Zurich warranty, if applicable, when problems with the finish of your new home are covered.
Our detailed snagging report will include photographs and a written description of every snagging item found. It will be issued in pdf form, within 2-3 working days of the inspection, with a copy going to you and, if you request it, one directly to the developer or builder.
Once this process has begun we will be available to provide further support and advice to resolve any outstanding issues.
We only work for private home buyers and do not have any contracts with the builders or housing developers so there are never any conflicts of interest.
Our reports will detail the outcome of a visual survey of the property to check the quality of workmanship against applicable standards. It covers both the interior and the exterior of the property as well as garden, driveway and garage, if relevant.
Once the snagging report has been issued, we remain available by phone or email to provide you with ongoing support & advice.
